Spring 2021 Semester Overview

Spring Semester:

Spring semester will look very much like fall semester; however, it is important to recognize that Larimer County or Colorado public health guidance and requirements could change at any time, shifting the university to fully remote operations. Offices that serve students will continue to do so either physically on campus or through remote options.
Phased Spring 2021 Schedule
  • Phase 1–January 19-22 (First Week of Classes): All courses will begin online/remotely. The first day of courses is January 19, 2021.
  • Phase 2—January 25 (Second Week of Classes): Selected courses with high priority for in-person learning will shift from online to face-to-face (100% in-person).
  • Phase 3—Early February: On February 5, faculty scheduled to teach courses in the hybrid modality will be updated on the status of course transition from 100% remote to hybrid (introducing a face-to-face component) based on Larimer County Public Health guidelines.
**It is important to note that at this point, in early February, courses offered at the CSU Fort Collins campus will potentially be a combination of in-person, hybrid, and online (this is similar to what occurred during most of the fall 2020 semester) until the week of April 12.
  • April 12-16, 2021- Spring Break (Note: Spring Break dates have been adjusted)
  • April 20-May 14- All courses will begin remote instruction only
  • May 10-14- Final Week (Note: all finals will be delivered remotely)
