RamRide x Lyft Partnership Announcement

RamRide, CSU’s Safe Ride program was founded by ASCSU in 2003 and quickly grew in numbers. RamRide’s operations moved to Off-Campus Life in 2013 and serves 30,000 patrons a year through its Nightly Operations. RamRide has recently expanded to support student’s basic needs through RamRide Food Ops. RamRide continues to be a national leader amongst other Safe Ride programs and is committed to the health and wellbeing of our local community.

RamRide x Lyft offers eligible students discounted rides in the US and Canada, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Thursday-Saturday. Each month, RamRide will allocate funds to this service, allowing students to get up to 4 discounted rides a month. Rides will be discounted 50%, up to a $10 maximum discount per ride. Once students hit the allocated funds maximum, discounted rides will be suspended until the next month. Students will still be able to utilize Lyft services at their normal rates for the remainder of that month. Prices may be impacted by distance, traffic, time of day, special events and prime time surcharge.

Your student should check their Colorado State University email inbox for an invitation from Lyft Business, and follow the steps to sign up. Once theyclick the link and join, the discount will be applied to eligible rides.

If they do not receive an invitation, please email Jose Hernandez Albarado. Don’t yet have a Lyft account? Download the app and create an account to get started.

If they did not receive their Ram Ride Lyft credits, and believe this was in error please have your student fill out this form.
