Dear Spring and Summer 2021 Graduates and Families,
First, congratulations on your upcoming graduation from Colorado State! We are extremely proud of your accomplishments in graduating and obtaining your degree this spring and summer! Families, we recognize your dedication and hard-work in supporting your student to reach this life milestone as well!
As we prepare for graduation, CSU is prioritizing the health of the community and our Ram Family in response to the continued global pandemic. As a result, it is with great sadness the university has announced all large-scale and in-person May commencement ceremonies have been cancelled.
However, all graduating students are invited to an in-person Graduation Ceremonial Walk around the historic Oval. Ceremonial Walks will take place throughout the week of April 5-10, 2021 before students begin remote learning and take time off for Spring Break.
This Ceremonial Walk is an occasion for all graduates to come together and celebrate their accomplishments. Please remember that this event is contingent upon current CSU and Larimer County public health conditions and guidelines. While guests will not be permitted to join graduates in person for this opportunity, the event will be both live streamed and recorded so family and friends can virtually participate in this experience.
All students have already received information from their respective academic colleges with specifics on their individual date and time for their walk.
If students are unable to make it to campus during the April 5-10 week, we invite graduating students to walk in any future CSU commencement ceremony with their college. When future schedules are released, students are encouraged to contact their academic college commencement coordinator to finalize the details.
For ongoing Commencement updates, please refer to the CSU commencement website https://commencement.colostate.edu/.
Congratulations to all graduates and families!
